Requirements

Applicants to the Women at Microsoft scholarship must:

  • Be a graduating high school senior  
  • Self-identify as a woman*
  • Plan to enroll in full-time in a tech, engineering, math, or computer science related undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school, in the United States, for the entire upcoming academic year.**
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent

Employees and children of employees of Microsoft are ineligible.

*Non-binary people, those who are gender fluid, and women of transgender experience are encouraged to apply.

**International applicants are welcome to apply if they will attend school in the US.

How to apply

Scholarship applications are accepted from January 22, 2024 until March 13, 2024, via the Scholarships America Hub.

Yes. All applications must contain a current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
